Exploring Inclusive Language Online
This workshop, facilitated by Ida J. Gibson, Ph.D., introduces participants to a common language and framework around inclusive language best practices. Language is a powerful tool and can have a lasting impact on a person's growth and development. By exploring inclusive language, participants will be better able to support students and staff in an inclusive way through language and greater awareness of privilege, identity, and inclusion.
Dr. Ida Gibson is a published consultant and facilitator providing innovative and effective consulting and training approaches to diversity, equity and inclusion. Dr. Gibson has worked with government & business leaders, strategists, educators and advocates across the US on issues related to equity and inclusion.
