Navigating Bias and Stereotype Replacement

Navigating Bias and Stereotype Replacement Online

The Identifying and Dismantling Racial Injustice Committee is sponsoring a half-day workshop, facilitated by APA Solutions, which will focus on Navigating Bias: Education and Impact, and Stereotype Replacement.  Participants will learn about the brain's natural way of making decisions through biases and then identifying the impact of biases, individually, and on others.  Participants will also experience a facilitation through the SEER Model by identifying their own implicit-based biases, how often they occur, and then consider how the biased response can be avoided.

This training qualifies as an elective training for Module 2 of the supervisor certificate program.

You do not need to be enrolled in the supervisor training program to participate, all supervisors, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend!
