Honors Program: Crafting Effective Literature Reviews In-Person

Guidance on developing strong review structures and integrating sources. We also plan to introduce students to NoodleTools, a powerful research and writing platform that helps them stay organized and work more efficiently. For Honors students, it offers several advantages:

  • Streamlined Citation Management—Create accurate citations in MLA, APA, or Chicago style with built-in guidance, reducing errors and saving time.

  • Research Organization—Keep track of sources, notes, and ideas in one place.

  • Collaboration Features–-Work with peers on group projects by sharing bibliographies and notes.

  • Critical Thinking Support–Guided prompts help students evaluate sources, encouraging deeper analysis rather than surface-level citation.

  • Integration into the Writing Process–By connecting sources, notes, and outlines, NoodleTools helps students move seamlessly from research to drafting.
