Currents Panel Discussion—Artist Impact with Hunt Gallery In-Person

The CAM presents “Currents Panel Discussion—Artist Impact with Hunt Gallery,” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18. Current and former Hunt Gallery resident artists will share how their time in the residency program has influenced their work, opened new doors, and helped them grow as artists. Free for NU students, faculty and staff. Register here.

Join us for a panel discussion moderated by Christina Buscarino (Gallery Director, Hunt Gallery) with Hunt Gallery resident artists Danielle Saeva (visual artist, muralist, educator), Emeka Wajed (third-generation artisan), Laura Valkwitch (multidisciplinary artist), and Nia Jael Bronner (mixed media artist). Hear how time, space, and support during residency have shaped their practice, opened doors, and fostered growth. Go behind the scenes of the art world, ask questions, and learn why residencies matter—for individual artists and for the broader Western New York arts community.

Co-developed with the C. Stuart and Jane H. Hunt Gallery and generously sponsored by Patti Thomas (aka The Ghost), whose support funds our speaker honoraria.
