Playful Learning in Higher Education In-Person
NIAGARA UNIVERSITY 2025-26 VINCENTIAN EXCELLENCE WORKSHOP SERIES
This professional development workshop invites the higher education faculty to explore the transformative power of playful learning. Together, we will challenge the misconception that play is only for young children, highlighting how it can enrich teaching and learning at all levels. Participants will engage in enjoyable, hands-on activities to experience firsthand the benefits of play, deepening their understanding of its potential to boost student engagement and comprehension. The session will conclude with collaborative brainstorming, as educators develop practical strategies for incorporating playful learning into their own college-level classrooms.
