3g. Bring Indoor Activities & Learning Outdoors In-Person

Primary component will feature our five senses and how fun activities can be used to get kids excited about learning in the classroom/outdoors.
Junior component will focus on the habitats and communities part of the curriculum. Activities introduced earlier in the workshop will be suitably modified for a junior audience.

Jim has been an environmental educator for almost 40 years. He has always strived to improve existing learning situations. This lead to the creation of Raven Nature Education
Specialists that has provided creative and dynamic hands on learning experiences for students and teachers. Jim has also co-authored several children’s books with educator and friend Carol Porter in a joint writing/publishing effort called Ravenventure Books. Work shop will have a primary/junior focus concentrating on activities that can be modified and
utilized in the classroom/school yard.
