1d. Supporting Indigenous Students In-Person

We will look at the challenges facing many indigenous students in the public education system.  We will delve into Trauma informed practice, a brief history of residential schools and look at indigenous ways of knowing.  Students will be challenged to dispel the myths about indigenous learners and communities and learn how they can be allies and advocates for Indigenous youth.
