This session encourages educators to consider the knowledge, and skills students need in the 21st century, and integrate them into course assignments and assessments. We will share examples of evidence-based assessment practices and how to minimize cultural bias in assessment.

OFFICE OF INCLUSIVE EXCELLENCE: FACULTY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ON INCLUSIVE PRACTICES

The objective of this series of workshops is to facilitate faculty conversations on inclusive pedagogical practices, curricula, research, and programs that encourage positive learning outcomes for all students. We discuss innovative approaches to integrating multicultural content and global perspectives in curriculum and a pedagogy to improve students’ engagement, learning outcomes and perception of classroom climate. These workshops are sponsored by the Office of Inclusive Excellence, the Office of Academic Affiars, and CCTL.
